Initial Ideas
initial ideas
To help me decide which theme to pick I will make a rough poster for each of them.
Travel
For this poster I used this car and added some neon lights.

Memory
For this theme I was thinking of using the idea of being glitched and loosing your memory such as computer memory.
Mental health
For this poster I have used the idea of depression adding by having a dark imagine which has not a lot of joy and added some lightning to further the mood.
initial thoughts
My initial thoughts on the themes of memory/mental health/travel is that I am leading towards doing either memory or travel.I am leading towards these because I think I could do some unique things to do with the themes and have a good and interesting out come.Whereas for the theme of mental health I struggled to think of ideas for a poster.However I will research all the themes and I will decide later on what theme I would like the choose.
I really like the use of subjects and writing in this poster.In this poster there is a clear main subject(Jeremy Clarkson) and a secondary subject being the car.They have used the empty space in the sky and on the floor to put the text of the poster this is very simple but very effective and I think this is a good way to create a poster that isn't overridden with text.When you first look at this poster the first thing you notice is Jeremy and the car this makes it a good design for its purpose.
These are just some of the types of travel this shows me just some of the different ways and uses of travel.In my project I could explore the use of these different types of travel.I could use the idea of each one of these different types of travel.When I think of luxury travel I think of rolls royces and private jets.

When I think of memory the first thing I think of is the memory in your head but when I thought about the word memory further I thought about the two different types of memory and I thought that it would be more interesting to research into the memory in a computer then the memory in someones head.

whilst looking at the inside of computer this image caught my eye mainly because the bright neon colours and how they really pop in the picture.The way I could incorporate a computer memory into a poster could be though a image on the a computer screen getting corrupted and the computer failing then have a set of posters that tell the story of the computer getting fixed and then returning to its original form.

For me having a good mental health means you have no diagnosed conditions to do with your psychological well-being and being in a content state of mind. Therefore having a bad state of mind can mean you have a mental condition or are feeling worse than how you want to feel.
I have some ideas of posters I can make for the theme of mental health one of the ideas is to have a person with two different personalities for example sad and happy or angry and happy.
I know that Mental health is a very serious thing that effects a lot of people in everyday life therefore I would have to take this subject with caution.
I have decided to focus on the theme of travel.I have decided to focus on this theme because after the initial ideas and research I have had most of my ideas on travel therefore I can develop these ideas with research and eventually will have the best outcome.
From the start of the final major project I knew that I wanted to make a series of posters.
Whilst I was researching I knew I wanted to do a series of poster that is very aesthetic. This is why I have decided to do a series of posters on a brand of vehicle manufacture.
I had an idea of what the story could include one of my early ideas is that I could make a series of posters about a car manufacture this could include different type of posters for different type of car/manufacture.
This is one of my initial ideas for travel I want to try to include different effects while making this poster.For my posters I would like to have a different effect for each poster and maybe have several effects in one single poster.
Travel
The first thought that comes into my head when I think of travel is vehicles.This is mainly because we use vehicles in our everyday life to get to school or work.Vehicles are used everywhere they can be anything from a car to a plane there are so many different varieties of ways to travel.When I think of posters to do with travel the first thought that comes into my head is cars.The type of posters you put up on you wall as a child with fast supercars.This is the type of thing that first pops into my head.

They have also used a nice splashing dirt effect to add to the idea of the car moving fast towards him.

In this video you can see the quality of the cars and the luxury travel.I could incorporate this into my project by having a different poster for each type of travel and doing different effects for each type of travel or I can pick a company that makes vehicles and I could make a poster for each type of vehicle they make and each model.
